Every musician whose life is affected, stems from an act of generosity that’s purely voluntary. That’s why donating is so extraordinary when you do it.
Musical Instruments are the lifeblood of our mission. If you have an unused musical instrument of any type, donate to Guitar for Hearts and we’ll make sure it is used to provide instruments to kids who may not otherwise be able to afford them.

What Drives Us
Our Mission
Guitar for Hearts is a nationally recognized nonprofit that rallies volunteers from all walks of life to donate instruments for those that are less fortunate.
Through our unique integrated approach, we distribute instruments to musicians and aspiring musicians. If you have an instrument lying around and collecting dust, one of the best ways to put it to use again (and in deserving hands) is donating it today.

We believe that by sharing instruments and musical experiences, children who would not otherwise have the opportunity can experience a kind of freedom and self-discovery that is often stifled in an atmosphere of economic hardship, and musicians that have missed out on opportunites can express their best music that is yet to come!

The second beneficiary was in honor of another Frank, Frank Moates, our founder, who passed away in 2009 from cancer. Our plan is to give a yearly gift to the American Cancer Society in the memory of Frank! [MORE]
